Event bosses and divine damage

So we've been killing at 200 and 150 (garanak and comrak). Anyway, when we are killing those bosses, if anyone with a dragonlord weapon is present, it says "someone's weapon glows with divine light." How is that possible? The event bosses aren't chaos bosses. There's a discussion wether or not they take divine damage or not. Can someone post an ss of whether they take divine damage. It just doesn't make sense why weapons "glow with divine light* there. I thought only chaos bosses were vulnerable to that.

Yes only mobs with chaos aura take damage from divine damage. However the divine damage is a weapon proc skill, so when it casts, it says that it glows with Divine light, but nothing happens because Garanak and the others dont have chaos aura

I dont think this is a problem to most people, why wouldn't you want to do extra damage on mobs that have tons of health?

Especially the 200 boss, we only have 1 lv200, 2 199 toons in our clan that do the bulk of the damage, the proc helps a lot, maybe the developers deliberately put it there since they know how tedious it is to kill the 200.

Agreed. People will always find something to point out to make them feel like they've achieved something.

Try it on the adds if you want to be sure.

Well, in that case, if you want to sacrifice an idol to know for sure, before you start, take a pop at him with a mage offhand and see if a number pops up above his head.

The proc says it goes off, but does not actually cause damage to the boss nor the ads. However, DL offhand skills do greatly increase the amount of damage done to the boss.
