Since these are the first novelty items to hit android i had a quick question

Do novelty items function as wands, meaning their damage is unaffected by strength or any other attribute?

I understand to hit and damage are affected by novelty skill

Novelty weapons are the same as any weapon in the game. If it has any physical damage (pierce, slash, or crush), then it's damage will increase with strength. Elemental damage (fire, ice, magic, or poison) is unaffected by strength.
