Just wondering if it's true that you need frozen armour to be able to obtain dragonlord armour. Thanks

Yes you need to meet the level requirement and have the item of frozen armour that corresponds to the item of dragonlord (e.g a frozen breastplate for dragonlord breastplate).

^ I am pretty sure you need all your frozen stuff before you can start dragonlord.

I'm level 160 and I have frozen gloves, boots, helm (and meteoric legs, top, dagger). I also have 2 purple gems and 2 eggs, but I can't get dragonlord gloves.

You dont need full frozen for dl. I have clannies who where missing 2-3 frozen pieces that did the quest.

Im guessing you dont know where to get the quest. The quest person for dl is at fingals by the closes ley to the 100 vendor.

You are required to have the frozen item before dl. So you may have only frozen gloves and the rest met. You can still turn in gloves.

For some reason I thought the same guys that give frozen quests also initiate the dragonlord quests.

Probably because that is actually quite logical (since they talk about it in their dialogue) and makes too much sense.
