Shivercowl trick more insidious than glitching Tricks

Some people are opposed to glitching red bosses while wholeheartedly embracing killing shivercowl and bonehead (and I suspect other red bosses) by using the out of range attack with ranger trick. The ranger trick seems to be sitting on moral high ground with some players especially the ranger class while the glitching trick is despised by some.
Let me just say that the ranger trick is more insidious than the glitching trick.
With the ranger trick, you only need two players, ranger and another player (any class), to kill Shivercowl and Bonehead without a single scratch. No need for strong driud or idols. The other player just stand there and watch and get all the xp and drops.
With the glitching trick, you need a full team of high dps players with strong druids to kill Spearhorn, Deadroot and Rockbelly and with the dps players dying many times and for some players, using many idols.
So, let me ask, which trick is more insidious? I hope you will be honest with your answer.
