All classes are perfect. If you actually work togeather you will see this.
Group 1 mage 1 druid 1 rogue 1 ranger 1 warrior and 1 tank. Kill fellfire chillmist starspell spirehoof and falgren and tell me how smooth it went. You got a cloaker a healer a dps a bolaser a few backup tanks and yourself as the main tank. These class are ment to survive togeather.
But in sulis we get alot of ksing and we currently in world war so mage is only used to cloak people so our group makes more damage

I agree, in a balanced game, a group like you mentioned would run very smoothly, but this is not a balanced game (yet).
I think it is interesting that when you listed out the "classes" for your group you listed warrior and tank separately. I don't recall tank being a "class" option in the character creation screen. Tank is a build, and illustrates perfectly how out of balance the game is. The current game favors warriors so heavily it is almost sad. Each world has an over population of warriors due to this.
Also, like I posted in a different thread, there is no reason in the world why a 96 Rogue should do double the max skill damage of 93 Mage. Before you say that the Rogue used a rebirth to put all points in STR to artificially inflate his number, keep in mind that STR has no impact on damage done with a skills hit (yet).
By your own admission, in the current game environment, you feel Mages are useless unless you need them to buff your DPS group (and by the way you had stated this, it sounds like the Mage is buffing from outside the group). Maybe they shouldn't be number one, but you can't deny that the gap needs to be closed up, and be more balanced.
Don't get me wrong, I love this game, but that does not mean I will stop trying to advocate change.

I just had to post here.
How the heck is a Mage balanced? Or even close.
Druids:Heal
Warriors: Tank
Rogues: DPS
Ranger: All round and Can bolas
Mages: out powered by rouges DPS and it's skills included, out powered by warrior, and put powered by ranger. So how is this balanced? Even with cloak, it's no where near as useful as a rogue is. sneaky and giant swing can't WAY overpower a ice shard lured both maxed. Do your research before posting please.

And what proof is your comment based off of? Moron Drizzit is one of the most powerful Mages in Arwan and could easily beat you.

Mages are great for support. For example they are cloakers, and can cast powerful boosts on players (energy well and in-combat energy regain). A mage can be a pain to level, but you get energy regain without an ammy. Also, mages are second best tanks with energy shield i think...
But ill test that on deadroot when my mage hits 90

Look on the highest hits list...Just look at it.
I dont care if The rogues are all strength because most rogues are basically all strength whether they try to max hit or not.
I have started the thread that lead two other like this to start. But I did not, i repeat not, say rogues are overpowered.
In a group of all classes, things may go well, but that does not mean the mage did anything. The group would also do fine without the mage. Notice how these groups work (WITH NO MAGE)...
1) 1 warrior, 3 druids
2) 1 warrior, 1 druid, 4 rogues
3) 2 warriors, 3 rangers
Now look at this group: 4 mages, 1 druid
IT DOESNT WORK THAT WAY
People always say, "Mages are good because they have cloak of fire" or "You have energy shield"
I want to tear apart their mobile device! that is so ignorant.
Cloak of fire brings mages up to par in terms of dps, if even that high. Its not even damage from the mage if its on a diff character.
I wont even start with energy shield...
