I was looking forward to the new event lux but was disappointed that none of them would make me stronger. OTM has done a good job giving us great Garanak sets but in the process, those of us at such a high level esp. the dps class no longer find any of the new event lux items compelling to buy. Perhaps OTM should come out with high level lux items like level 180 items which will appeal to the high level players with full garanak sets. In the end most of us high levels wasted our gold gambling on chests.

There shouldn't be lux available for purchase which surpasses the event gear obtainable in the same event.

That just makes the game more pay to win. The current format of having lux as a substitute if unable to get event gear is really good, in my opinion.

It's unfair to have one clan hogging the event boss 24/7 while othes rot away with old event gear. I'm sick and tired of trying to fight a clan that has no life and can camp a boss 24/7 without ever logging out.

well while the game should cater to those who cannot get the best event boss drops, the lux shop should not leave the high levels with access to event boss drops high and dry. what is the point of having so much gold but not able to spend them for because there is nothing to buy from the shops?

I think you missed my point totally. It is not about hogging event boss but about high levels not havng any use for the new lux shop items. Hogging event boss is a topic we can talk until the cows come home and yet see no daylight.

People will always want access to better gear. Very OP lux shop? People will complain about event bosses not dropping good enough loot. Very OP event drops? People are dissatisfied with the lux shop.

It's a very difficult issue to address I can imagine, and I do see where you are coming from. I personally have spent all my excess gold on lixes/gear for an alt that I have created.

What's the problem in making both available??

Make them equally strong, if not the same.
If you want to get it for free, kill the boss.
If you are lazy or can't, buy it.

How the hell is this affecting you? You are not putting yourself into other's shoes just because you have not had the problem before.

Why should I get the shaft because my clan collapsed and now the opposing clan is dominating?

Why make the already widening gap between my dps and their dps wider?

I need a comeback, make some good lux available. This is totally unfair. All the people who are against it are the ones who have the gear in game.

I understand you'd get pissed if itnwas Mordris/Necro gear being made available to buy. This is an event boss, if you can get good gear by killing the event boss and hogging it, then I should be able to buy that same gear.
I want to ENJOY event just as much as YOU are ENJOYING the event.
