So about 2 and a half years ago we were told that you would be able to customize your characters hair style, looks and gender and that it would be released soon.

Here's a better way of putting it and hopefully give a better sight.
“So about 2 & a half years ago we were told that we'll have more new hair styles, ok well guess what they gave us (wigs),so what about our looks ? Well ok they gave us yellow & green skin during events between them two & a half years ago, & gender, well they gave us that since the begining of the game when it first lunched in the App Store. Here's the best part that it would be released soon. As in you just keep loving whatever they give you and be happy till they actually choose to listen to you.”

Coloured skins are discontinued.
