Will old players be given a one-time character appearance change? I noticed on android servers there are a lot more faces to choose from. So will we be given a chance to remodel our character at the start of our first log in?

I agree that this needs to happen.. Otherwise a lot of old-timers who chose a style that looked good then but looks bad/less desirable/anotheronelooksbetter in the new update will be reallly mad..

I decided to go with no hair because I didn't like the given styles and figured there would be a barber shop of some sort to buy better styles in game

OTM said no. You get the counterpart character model in the new engine whether you like it or not.

Perhaps in the future they will introduce a feature to change the look of your character, most likely at a plat cost.

I've read on another forum that OTM said that the old faces from the current game will be mapped to the new faces in the Destiny engine. There will be some differences in appearance, but they have tried to keep the general theme of each face similar. They want to offer the ability to change appearances in the future, but it's unlikely to happen alongside the release of the Destiny engine.

So to answer your question, no. It is very unlikely that you be able to change your face when the new engine is out.
