i personally liked it better when you always got the same no matter what. like white always sparkled, no luck involved. red never sparkled etc.

what do you think?

Gonna get moved to feedback and suggestions. And several players loved no random quests like lugh for example but nothing has changed even with player feedback.

No way! It's great that some people get a sparkle white on the first try, but I've turned in over 12,000 presents and have yet to get one. It's awesome!!!! </sarcasm>

It is frustrating even thinking about doing the top hat quest for me now. I just got black after about three weeks and look what I have to deal with :/
Can someone let me know if white has the same problem?

I turned in three for white and got two Sparkly Whites. I had help from all my clannies though.

A lot of people who didnt get the White Lugh Mask and the White Coven hat in 2012 loved the random rewards, and OTM listened and catered to them.

OTM likes random quests. It forces players to do them several times and extends the event content for months. Before Yule 2012, most players have finished all the quests after 2-3 weeks and complained about how little and short-lived the event content was. Be careful what you wish for.

Now I have four non-sparkly hats. Will keep trying till I get stardust.

What's special about a white sparkly hat if every person has a white sparkly hat? Nothing... I liked the Coven hat quest the best because it had players build off of their progress.... OTM please do another quest line like the Coven hat one.. No point in every person owning the best item, or the best item now just becomes average.
