'Raids' expect too much

Anyone else think the idea of 'raids' is a bit crazy on a mobile mmo? Notice how long it took for worlds to kill mordy or necro after it's release. We haven't killed necro in over 3 months because it's damn near impossible for us to get the right amount of people on(don't even start with the engine crap, leave it out of this discussion.) I understand some worlds have the members to actively do things but a majority currently don't. Sure, when the game becomes more popular large raids will be very possible but at the current state of the game it's a bit crazy.

My only suggestions would be to make small instance dungeons for 4-8 people but apparently admin doesn't like the idea of instances so we could make bosses easier to require less people?

I just feel like we need to stray away from the 40+ man raids and go towards something like 1-2 groups per boss. Why should it take an army of 'elite' players(max gear) to down a boss for equal or lesser gear? It shouldn't. Also shouldn't take 15-20 minutes to hack and slash a boss to death with that whole army lol

Well put, I think people expect a lot out of it because it is just so vastly different than other mobile games but people have to realize pmmos are all about convenience and let's call raids what they are plain and simple, a massive inconvenience to the majority involved.

In PC based games I understand having the need for a large number of players to down a boss (but those games also have a LOT better boss loot).

In a mobile based game, I agree that requiring that many people for a boss is a little absurd. Even before any graphics changes, older devices suffered lag when there were so many people together and animations/effects going on.

This morning on Lugh we tried killing Aggy right before server reset, I was on my iPad 2, I had to face my camera away from Aggy and all of the action taking place due to lag. There were probably 20+ players there.

It would be nice to see bosses not be as hard, especially considering the loot quality. I know that some items are meant to be rare... which is great and all. But when that boss isn't killed in months due to the need of a LARGE group fully decked... why would they even want to kill said boss when the loot table is a let down 99% of the time.

So you believe 40 people should gather to kill a boss and spend a large amount of time and resources just to earn 3-4 crummy drops and that's how it should work? A large majority of players return from a boss raid unhappy with the results every single time, I don't think that's how bossing should work.

Game is at critical mass point for end game bosses and stagnated even stopped on most servers....

Things have got to change to make the game wat it was supposed to be mobile

Mobile as in smaller based group action.....and alot more action to create excitement most times wen u login.


Tbh....otm have never listened in post made along time ago on this (i remember quite a few on these related topics)

Now we have nuclear fallout aftermath on most servers (even powerful clans and 1 server clans dying a death)

Otm Should of listened and looked harder along time ago.

They gotta change and implement a new game format on smaller group action starting now.

A LOT of issues are being fixed and I can vouch for OTM that they are combing over the forums and listening to our suggestions.

Don't worry, things are getting back up and running. All we are waiting is Apple to approve the new build then they can get the Tower update out asap while submitting intermittent fixes.
