Why cannot we use double attack on our mounts?

It is a weapon, right?
So why can't I use double attack? Do I need double shot?

double shot is for ranger

Here is the link I quoted Admin (waves) on talk of a different mount system near future. For now the mounts you have you cannot equip weapons. I assume you're ranger.

A druid can use double shot too if they use a bow. So I figured since mounts are a weapon on its own (It does damage, right?) and its long range or short range why cannot we use the either double attack or double shot with them?

No? Okay then double attack but ill check double shot because one of them has no class requirement.

Double attack. Double shot was created specifically for bows(rangers).
