I was a bit curious, the level requirement to apply is level 170 but will a level 200 have a higher chance to be selected than a level 174?

Also, will this be using the app we used for the open beta? It would be cool if so, or will this be the 100 people beta?

We can invite up to 1,000 testers, we've put the level requirement on the initial beta so we can get feedback from players who are around the right level for the tower, we'll open it up to further levels after the first phase. Being a higher level doesn't necessarily give you better chances to be selected. We've not sent out beta invites yet as we're still collecting applications but hope to start soon after the bug fix patch goes out.

The first phase will probably be a small(ish) group, we've still not decided on final numbers, just to get initial reaction and testing on two floors of the tower. Phase 2 we will expand to further players and open up the remaining floors. We're going to be reviewing applications and deciding who to invite, it won't be a first come first serve, but if we get less than 1,000 applications then we'll open it up to everyone that's applied in Phase 2.

Probably you used email app and clicked invitation link from there. Had same problem. Link in email apps is broken. Try open your email using website in safari or something, and use invitation link from there
