We all play afk, especially when you are in a spot where you can autokill

writing a report for work or school, tap swipe.

at a boring work meeting, swipe tap.

Spouse giving you the stinkeye for playing to much, tap swipe.

Jogging, tap tap.

But when is it apparent when someone is botting?

I understand short of actually watching someone in real life (creepy), how can you tell?

If you can never tell then why make it a rule at all?

Im frustrated because i see someone on for over 24 hours, never casts or speaks, only logs at a reset and is on for weeks. there is a point of the duration that we all agree that there is an issue?...patterns play out indicating a macro?

If the toon is moving in stiff, herky-jerky motions, and speaks in monotone, its a pretty sure bet a bot is involved.

if you wait until they attack a mob, and taunt the mob and they follow it til the mob resets.

did you report him using the in game support tool? I reported one guy doing this years ago on the black birthday hat mobs. He got taken care of quickly

The person in this picture (name removed to prevent shaming) always seems to be online, although he never seems to move.
I cant think of a time I've been in the castle without seeing him standing in the exact same spot.

I did report it already. Will check back later when I get home if the dude is still there which is most likely. I'm wondering how much the dude have farmed already from Urgan.

Im from Lir as well, and Owain defintely DOES bot. He is literally on 24/7 farming that boss, doesnt speak or use skills. Quite pathetic if you ask me, I hope GMs ban him for foul play.

Isn't it tough to prove someone is botting though?
