I've been seeing rouge instead of rogue lately. Rouge is pronounced differently....

We make a ton of jokes about this and then time passes and someone else points it out and we all laugh again.

I find it funny that the same people who spell Rogue as Rouge, also spell Guardian as Gaurdian, it's just a funny bit of either really young kids trying to spell or our global education system collectively dying a bit every time it happens.

There is no easy answer, but it's REALLY funny sometimes.

I corrected someone once on that in the forums. His answer.. well, I like to spell it rouge.

That statement keeps me up at night sometimes.

i think i may of have spelled rogue wrong a couple of times....

It's a bit weird but every time I see someone say they are a 'rouge' I think of someone wearing red dancing the can-can. I suppose it's because rouge is French for red but imagine someone like that kicking a boss to death by dancing? I'm odd, I know.

That being said, I have met a lot of players in game whose native language is not English. In that regard, they have my respect, as thinking and typing quickly in a second language is certainly difficult.

One very very funny one for me is that Infinity (?) chap. I find him funny because he is obviously not a dullard, yet he habitually types "allot" instead of "a lot".... which always reminds me of this brilliant comic:

english isn't my native language, but i'm pretty sure that rogue and rouge don't sound alike.
