Ok so I am completely mad at hearing about this..... I not sure if this is already out or anything, but I just want to say what I think of this.

1) Wtf!?!?!??!??!!! The first person to get to lvl 60 in beta gets a full crystal set in live game!?!?!? Are you F***ing kidding me!?!?!

2) Unfair start: Admin if you make a competition on forums don't start it when you make the post... Put a planned date and time ie Tuesday at 7:00 GMT.

3) Why are you ruining the gameplay? I hope this has been cancelled as it pisses me off you favor the beta testers to get a completely free set when they don't even have work 5X as hard as it might be to get it? Uhhhh hello? Is your brain working? I would have never given up being a beta tester if I knew I could get that free set just for getting to lvl 60 first.

4) Unfairness to all: You only let beta testers get this opportunity and those who applied but didn't make it don't get it and those who are ganna end up working their butts off for these new sets won't get an easy way to get it....

Well I think I'm done.... Idk if this is a secret... Or old news... But I just felt like talking about it while I'm on my phone on the Internet.

Hi there, yes we ran a competition to win a set of the new vendor armour.

However since it's vendor armour it won't give anyone an advantage because you can just go buy it yourself with gold if you want it.

The new quest armour is a different story.

Everyone will have to earn the new quest armour, nobody is getting that without completing the quests.

we got a mole in the network telling our secrets of the beta test an update 3 hmmmmm wonder who it could be the beta competiton was to work out the bugs an glitches on the new story an questline for update 3 it was very intersting an a whole bunch of bugs were found ,,

,for your benefit these beta testers are working ther asses off for all of you players so the final product will be worth it an the best update ever that is until update 4 comes out

trust me the road to level 60 was not a easy task either it was sleepless nights and sleepless days naps here and naps ther when they could afford it for the contestants an their will to find bugs an glitches on the way to their glory an something to be proud of an achieve jus ask tea what he got he he ,he was last in line (sorry tea ) you still rock cause if it wasnt for you things would not have been found in the process

all these beta testers are very dedicated in their job but a little fun in the process helped ease things the testers have been at it non stop 24/7, 7 days a week, every minute, every second

This post is a joke. Worst, it's uninformed, and flagrantly over assuming. Your Beta Informant Under-informed you.

Crystal Armor is the new ancient armor. It will be unlocked thru unlocking the vendor that you buy it from similar to Ancient Armor in Shalemont Ravine.

Also Beta Testers eligible for this armor put in more work than some people do in a RL job. It's a Beta Contest, not a general contest, and the people who lvled up on Beta Build 12 uncovered more than 35 new bugs, glitches and other issues with the game that never would have been discovered unless the Admin set a ton of rabid testers into a slow grind (no beta benefits, no elix, no gold total noob grinding to 60). Many of the new bugs were in the Ravine, a place that shouldn't have been buggy by a lot of builds, but it was.

Beta is assumed by other people to be this cush-place where you Scrooge-McDuck (DuckTales) dive into Update 3 Content and swim around in it until you OD from the awesomeness.

Beta is hard. People who don't do it assume it's like God's gift to gaming, but it's a ton of "Hard." To keep focus to show up at same times or organized times, and while a new build released generates solid testing, usually the downtime between build-release days is when most real testing gets done.

My point is beta contests provide focused testing and as long as they give prizes that aren't OP then they are the best thing for the game and for the beta. Crystal Armor is store bought, cool but not OP, and the prize went to only 2 people (EnergyK & Marshill) not tons.

So back off people who are working hard as hell to make this a better game. 2 people won prizes that honestly I think they justly deserved since their work totally was amazing in terms of testing and game development.

P.S. The Unfair start to me is also a bit of a UN-truth I agree that future content meant for contests should be sent out thru BetaGroup PM to properly inform everyone. But....THAT SAID... Active testers that check forums(the prime medium for testing) all knew that the contest was on. Sounds like your informant is butt-hurt because they aren't active, to which I would say rather than blaming the contest, they should just get active. It's solves their problem.

I always like very much teaweasel posts, because they are always well-written, but most important... always rationnal.

i am not a beta tester because I do not want to get spoiled when I will play this release.

But i would find it very disapointing and get annoyed if in the middle of a new quest... a bugg would prevent me to finish it ! Only way to be sure it does not happens... It to beta test it. And to do so : you need people willing to give freely away their time.

Very honestly I could not agree more with tea. Even if us, the majority of players are bored to death... i am thanksful to all the betatesters who are working their ass to give us a new version 3 without any bugs.

If some of them get rewarded with not quest items... But luxury shop prices... So what ? Gold is easy to make for hardcore players like me, and it is not an unfair advantage.

I think even more, all the ACTIVE beta players (the one actually reporting buggs or suggesting constructive ideas) should get rewarded something from the lux shop !

Makes me mad to even read this, do we deserve something special and an advantage? Um YES and my brain is working, while we're in beta looking for bugs and trying our hardest to get this update out to you guys, we're getting behind in the live version and people are passing us, so a small advantage isint anything special, please don't come raging tvthe forum when we work our butts off trying to get this tested as fast as we can.

Oh and this may have been from me when I typed on the wrong chat while telling NightGale the beta tester about the compition, I meant to type it in wisper but it came up in the group chat. This MAY have been how someone heard about it, regardless, it's not an excuse to come say its not fair when we're getting behind in the live game, heck of they have us full upgraded warden you shouldn't even whine about thy either (which they arent) point being, stop whining about things when you don't fully understand what's even going on.

First of all I honestly don't think y'all deserve upgrade and special stuff just for finding bugs while you level slowly.... And a while ago I pmd admin asking if you would be compensated something for spending a lot of time off of the live game.... He said no you wouldn't it's really just the testing for whoever likes it.... Well this is something that made me mad when admin tells me 1 thing and then go and does another.... Anyone can look for bugs... I've found lots from this live game even from not being a beta tester for those betas....
