How can a game go from being so good to so bad in one update?

Combat graphics no longer work. My mage has winterstave which adds zero to wand ability. In groups it's now hard to select from group list. Action text covers buffs, and group list. Game play has stopped being fun and really still playing because of money spent and hope Dev get it right. No qc as yet though

Winter stave is a novelty. The only event wands to be wand abilty are the wand of hallows, yulestave, and sunflower wand

Before the update, winterstave use was increasing wand ability. They don't use novelty ability

This game took a wrong turn at carrow and been traveling down hill since then, otm doesn't care tho cuz ppl will still continue to spend 1000s of money on it
