It makes sense, but you really need to look at the downside to server xfers, such as the economy etc.

I would think if they did server transfers it would have to be with a naked character. Transferring items between worlds opens up a whole set of questions and could create a lot of drama.

OTM probably won't deal with transfers until the individual worlds stop consuming plat items.

OTM has said that they will look into it in the future. It will happen. When? Probably 2-3 years.

It wont happen. It would take a fair amount of work to accomplish, and the benefits would be minimal at best. There are a million other IMPORTANT changes and additions that need to be done, server transfers don't matter enough.

It would take a fair amount of work to accomplish? OTM has already proven that they can copy characters to other servers so it id already possible. All OTM has to do would be to find a way to keep everyone happy. Possibly keeping only non trade items.

Minimal rewards? There are tons of people who will be willing to spend lots to do this transfer.

Whenever OTM copies the characters to beta the servers have to go down while they copy them. If they opened up server xfers as an option the servers would have to reset a ton. They would have to find a way to do it without the servers having to reset
