Something that I have yet to look into as I do not want to end up wasting a lot of gold, but the description sounds pretty vague to me, and yes this is about lux items.

Say runic bracelet of secrets cannot be equipped with another item of the same type, does this mean I cannot equip it with another runic bracelet of secrets? Or does it mean I cannot equip it with any other runic bracelet in general?

Yeah, I guess I misread.

If it says cannot be equipped with another bracelet of the same type it is vague. Does same type mean energy regen? Vitality? Hp regen? Same tier brace? Same exact brace? It should just say cannot be equipped with another runic bracelet of secrets.

Both have 25 letters including the spaces so it's not like otm is saving any space here. Even with other items, whats another 10 letters? Cannot be equipped with another "item name". Simple

Apparently someone said on another topic that runic bracelet of secrets cannot be equipped with any other runic bracelets regardless of type, not just another "secrets" bracelet.

That's incorrect because I have equipped runic bracelet of valour and runic bracelet artifice. Unless the secrets bracelet is special.

When I hit lvl 200 I already owned the lvl 180 eldritch bracelet of valour and I got the lvl 200 runic bracelet of valour and it wouldn't let me equip it while I still had the 180 version equipped.

It's highly inconsistent as to what works and what dosent. Also as to what buffs you do get when equipped.
