Hey there, we've added hand to hand weapons like knuckledusters etc but I'm not sure which class they should go on.
Should they be for rogues only, melee only or for everyone?
Your thoughts would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
Re: Hand to hand weapons - which classes?
#2I think meele only, it ticks me off a bit to see a Druid with a Bodkin because it just doesn't go together same with Mage.
Each class shoul have it's relevant equip, so as for the new hand to hand, only rogues warriors and rangers

Re: Hand to hand weapons - which classes?
#3Yeah I agree totally, melee only...the way you see druids and the caster classes with a bodkin just doesn't fit. Wouldnt be the best idea to make another weapon like that

-Morrigan-
Cronic, 143 Mage
Ninjastar, 127 Rouge
TheDarkSide, 67 Druid
Tada gan iarracht.

Re: Hand to hand weapons - which classes?
#4I think it should be for all classes because all classes can fights without any weapons equiped, and that should somehow increase the ability for higher damage.
Knuckledusters then can become the weapon for hand to hand combat. This is a melee weapon so the stat points would most likely goes to strength correct?, could be fun for any class who want to have a go at something differnt.
I would love to take a break from holding my bow every now and then.

Just makes them look dumb and could potentially drive away new players lol. If I I started playing a game and saw a Druid with a knife (noobies point of view) I would think the game needed a lot of work and is lame.
Then again there was that Unristricted Plate Armor back in the day lol

But that was cool

Re: Hand to hand weapons - which classes?
#7It is odd idea for a magic casters but how about thinking in the way for varieties?

Re: Hand to hand weapons - which classes?
#8There is Variety,It is odd idea for a magic casters but how about thinking in the way for varieties?
They have three options
Silver Orb
Gold Orb
And idk how many Focus's there are because of so many types.
How much variety do you want? You can't mix variety with class restrictions, other wise people would complain about Druids not being able to equip Astral Armor and Meteoric Daggers for "Variety"
Re: Hand to hand weapons - which classes?
#9I would even dare to say, put restritions to all items that are already in game. I want to see big diffrences between the classes! People have to choose what they wanna be, not some lame char that has a bit of it all. And to be the strongest you have to group up with diffrent classes to benefit the best!

#10This company isint to fond of changing already bought items. So of they restricted the lux weapons it would only be for future purchases.I would even dare to say, put restritions to all items that are already in game.
