So I can't seem to find or buy any purple presents are they that rare? And also does anyone have an enduring kite of guarding? How much armour does it add?

Also are they only in certain areas? Seen blue in Lirs but purple no where.

Event quests seem kind of useless last 3 events. At least hats are not random this time.

Do purples even exist?

This guy was trading 300 red presents for 1 on crom

I've picked up 3-4 purple presents. Mostly just random spawns. I have gotten 2 from the arena though.

I've picked 500ish up and only gotten 1 so far.

I have finished best kite. Adds 100 armor. When i was done collecting i had 1400 red presents around 100 blue and i had found 18 purple. I had to buy 7. Purple can be found anywhere a chest spawns. Thier random and the purples are extremely rare.

So basically another disappointing and frustrating Event quest. Once the few Purples found by low levels looking to sell are taken the spawn rates mean you might collect the whole event and not get the highest Kite.

OTM the random and super rare collectible nature of these quests in recent Events is BAD design.
People give up so your Dev work is wasted. You make these quests to stretch out content. Recently this seems a failure.

Please stop this experiment and go back to previous methods for stretching content out which was increasing the drops needed and NOT increasing drop rarity.

After 200 red presents I had 10 blue and 35 purple

I think it's great you can skip all the intermediary quests and go straight to the final quest, but is the Eternal Kite of Guarding really worth all these trouble?

For a squishy char 100 armor can be useful as a free buff. I use quite often as a ranger when adds aggro i pop it and can stay alive a bit longer. Also its tradeable so can always send to alts to help level.
