Also your real life example is idiotic. I do have siblings and we do enjoy a family pet together. U know...take turns in feeding and taking out for walks and stuff. Which is exactly the same as if u send your pet to your alt.

If pets were tradeable wouldnt a few people hoarde pet tokens and get max pets and sell for stupidly high prices?
So pets being untradeble means people will probably keep enough tokens to max their pet, ther alt's pet, and maybe a friends pet and probably sell on the rest
