With beta underway I minted up a pile of pet tokens and decided to try all colors and tiers of rabbit. My ability started at 282 and finished at 288 so there may be some slight error but here is the table:

A level 1 brown heals 29hp/pet token (at my abil) while a golden 6 heals 4.4hp/pet token.

If I get some more time I can test across dogs and wolves but I expect this to be the same. Probably with bears too (except they don't use pet tokens)

thanks for sharing this most useful insights. I wanted to petition otm to increase the heal of tier 6 golden rabbit at rabbit taming ability 2340. At this level and ability, my heal is only 1225. A clanny has a tier 5 golden rabbit at much lower ability whose heal is below my tier 5 white rabbit at 2230 ability.

The stats presented by Plus 3 shows that those who used 128 tokens to get a tier 6 golden rabbit are ripped of. You can do much better with a tier 6 white rabbit with much less tokens. The additional heal you get from a high tier golden rabbit is just not worth the cost.

OTM needs to address this.

The dog is the same. A silver maxed is less than double the stats of a brown maxed for 4 times the cost. And only 40 more stat points (vit in this case)

Now I'm wondering if I should stop saving tokens and just go ahead and buy a brown rabbit? Is there any point in saving for hire two years if you're not a plant buyer and you're not going to be a level 200 for a long long time?

The worst buy is a low level top tier pet you sit on. You get about 2.5x the stats going for a level3 bottom tier vs a top tier lvl1. They both cost 4 tokens.

So in my situation, it's almost definitely best to go with the around one? Thank you this has been very helpful.

I'm also very worried that OTM will boost the top tier stats as soon as I buy the bottom tier. As much as I feel the top-tier does need to be boosted, if this happens I will be very sad. OTM – if you do this please let us trade in our pets for 100% of the tokens!!!

Any change to the stats from when this was posted where it might be better to get a higher tier?

Nope. It's the same all tiers/levels for spider/boar as well.

Got a lvl 3 spider for my ranger, and a lvl 2 bunny for my mage.
