We're currently waiting on Apple, judging by previous updates it will be approved some time this week however please be aware there is no fixed date, it's completely up to Apple when they approve it we just get told once it's been approved.

There is a lot for us to do on update day in terms of awarding the platinum bonuses and books, fixing up peoples quests that are no longer valid, and setting up the servers with the new configurations and code. So the worlds will be down for about 8 hours on update day, which means there will be plenty of notice before it launches

to my understanding the plat bonus is we will be getting the equivalent of 10% of all plat we have ever bought as a gift, eg u buy 4000 plat, u get 400 free in update

Yes its confirmed. All players will be getting 10 plat no matter what. Then, any players who bought plat will get a 10% refund of the amount of plat they've ever bought. And on top of all that, players above level 20 will receive a free book for re-speccing after the update.
