Haste and other general Questions

Greetings!!

Have a couple general questions was hoping to get confirmation on:

1) I am aware that you cannot stack haste 'items' like a quiver and ring, but what about using a haste item and a haste lix? Any benefit? (it seems to work for me but I am being told conflicting information)

2) Items that add resistance i.e. Resist Cold, Resist Heat--does this just add to the opportunity to fully resist that damage or does it migrate the damage reducing total amount?

3) What effects agro from a boss--is it total amount of damage or does a large damage attack factor into that play? Any insight into 'agro' would be helpful.

Thanks in advance for answers and I will post as more come to mind.

Happy Hunting!!

1. I know for certain the speed cap is 1100 so it can't go faster then that. As for stacking I don't think it's possible, but I've never personally proven or disproven it so I cannot tell you 100%.

2. Resistances work just like armor. If you wear a bp with 100 armor check your abilities page and you'll notice you have 100 slash crush and pierce resistance more.

3. Aggro is affected by damage dealt, and is multiplied by how low your level is. To what extent I'm not exactly sure but lower levels draw ALOT of aggro if they can do decent damage. Taunt/war cry will give you more Aggro points, and if someone casts calm on you it will give you less.

Also I'm pretty sure healing/support skills draws aggro if you cast them on someone fighting the boss/enemy, but less so then the other aspects.

Speed Cap?

Where do I see that or find that out?

Was not aware that level played a factor and lower level characters pull agro faster--levels being equal, does it go off total damage or do large one time attacks play a factor?

Appreciate you responses.

Level is not related to aggro.

Level difference is what determines aggro, if you are 100 levels away from the mob you are fighting and there are lower levels there they are more likely to pull aggro with less damage.

Speed cap info should be still on the super haste elixir in plat shop(if it's not ill post a pic)

And aggro is total damage(or aggro affecting skills), so a big hit will affect it, but not the way you think.

Haste items do not stack, therefore it is not typical to wear a haste item while using haste. A common exception is wearing a reaper ring during haste because you are wearing it for the 15% attack boost.

The lower the level you are the more aggro you will pull from mobs or bosses. This means as a high level character you can walk through rooms of mobs, the radius is very small to not existant (it disappears at 90 levels below you). For the same damage you will get far more aggro on mobs/bosses and your taunt/warcry will be far more effective (a far under level warrior with medium gear can outaggro an end game toon with full pro gear)

Resistances are just like armor, the more you have the less you take. If you want to avoid it completely you need to work on the right ability like warding, vigor, etc.

Agree upthere!
haste doesnt stack, only the highest one stay, but it can still be shown that your character has 2 haste :) so kind of a waste unless (as said upper) you use a spetial haste item who add something else in stats.

Abilities....yeah if you haven't tried yet you should definitively take 2 weeks and max them all!!! It changes your overall survivability, and its defenitively worth it...only issue: prepare to afk all day and to spend 300 heroic widsom lol
