I cannot find any information regarding the obtaining of mounts. I was saving for the warthog or whatever it was called, but now theyre gone and there are no others for sale, except from other players. I have trawled all these forums and there is at best no information now on how to obtain one, except gamble with platinum chests. Seriously?

All mounts in this game are event only. If you miss out getting one from the event, you'll have to buy it from another player.

That sucks. How come you could buy from a vendor until just recently? Kind of miss my umpteen mounts from WOW. Thing is if you are willing to buy one, surely that is money for the developers of this game. Kind if twisted logic forcing us to gamble.

That vendor was event only aswell, it's been like this since the game started.... I really like it tbh, makes mounts rare and unique. Weird that they don't have a mount vendor this update though, I kinda liked them.... even though the mounts were ridiculously overpriced

Typically OTM will have a mount vendor for each event. Those vendors only sell reskinned broom and cape mounts. For any animal form of mount you have to gamble on platinum bought event chests or buy them from a player who has already done that. It's been suggested a thousand times by now that the horse breeder in farcrag sell basic horse mounts but all we hear in return is the sound of crickets chirping.

Opened up 199 chests last summer event and got one of the first horses on lugh, was just an 85% but I was able to sell it for another 99 chests lol (originally bought 100). I also got 2 80/10 ugly stick mounts (spirit gliders).

I bought 10 chests and got unicorn 80%, my mate opened 200 chests got nothing.

So, again, why not just offer a selection of mounts for platinum as a direct purchase. I have only been playing for a couple of months now and I am discovering a few too many annoying aspects, this being one of them. Makes one miss WOW a lot more when this BS happens.

Lottery make people addict, they spend more money on chest and business can run. Question is : is it more worth if some players spend few bucks for mounts, or if few people spend thousands on chests...:/
But I agree...I'm getting more and more annoyed about those chests system...and would rather see and direct cash transaction for a certain mount or fash rather than lottery.
