Why was I bubbling???

Last night on 3 separate occasions in different places I was surrounded by a bubbling effect. I checked and nothing had been cast on me. What was this and why did it happen??
I have had this problem as well in the past,
well... either that or a weird spider just appeared on my screen and walked over it for no reason.
If this was a play by OTM for halloween then hats off because its brilliant.
Btw the spider effect only happened in carrow between firbolg ley and troll pit
