While playing on rogue for snorri lock I have lost a lock multiple times now due to the fact that it says

Shadowstrike succeeded
Then follow up it says that snorri then has avoided shadow strike

How can shadow strike succeed if it's getting avoided?

Because you successfully used the skill and the boss dodges it?

It's either succeeded vs interrupted

The only time your skill won't succeed is if it's been interrupted by something.

Once successfully cast, the boss can then avoid it. That's why you see both messages.

Is it really success.
