People always complain that this game is a pay to win game I hear it all the time however this game is rather pay to lose the server I play about 80% have never bought plat and they have everything in game for edl 2 -3 skain sets each whereas people who have bought plat like my self can't even get anything that's this good you want. Me to buy some junk ass armour/ weps from shops and this is nothing good. Compared to the end game items people have . This isn't just me I know about another 7 play buyers who have spend 100s of dollars to try progress and they can't even get passed dl armour and yes they are 220. People also complain that it's hard to get gold in game however there are non-plat buyers who have 30mil. There might be a lot of errors in here was rushed and auto correct was annoying plus I can't be bothered reading what I wrote

Yeah this game is in no way pay to win...pay to level faster sure but pay to win no.

Sadly OTM'S view on progression seems to be that players should only really ever log on when the boss they need is due and then cross their fingers that they get lock and the colour and item they need drops.

Heaven forbid players should be rewarded for actually spending time or money on this game. After nearly five years of playing it still baffles me as to why they insist on causing so many bottle necks in quests rather than players actually working constantly on quests to gain armour and weapons

I've heard fishing has good steady progression and can also be very profitable

I've known people that farmed in ch as if it's a real life full time job, I mean farm 12+ hours a day... everyday. It's a choice imo. You can play ch full time and not have to buy plat and get gear, buy plat and get gear, or you can do neither and have to wait longer to get gear. I do a mix between farming and plat buying.

I personally just afk farm at times when im on ch... I leave auto attack on and while im doing other things i just sit there and tap on the screen every once in a while. Its not hard to farm for gold tbh. But I guess people are just impatient.

People are super impatient in this game

Read the title and thought this was about buying additional char slots. You can't dual log toons made on the same login. Every free offer nowadays is per login, not character. You don't pay for logins like where this idea came from. So effectively you pay to lose.

Not trying to generalize since every person is different. But MMOs games aren't the same as other games because your actions and personality do quite affect how successful you are in the game. If you can't make friends in a game, then chances are you have difficulty having real friends either. If you are rude and can't respect other people in MMOs, then essentially your morals are also suspect. Hard workers often succeed, those looking for handouts don't. Paying to play is like paying for s**, you may enjoy it at first but if it's a meaningful relationship you are looking for, you need to put the cash away.

+1 to aileron and honestly that's what s good about the game: money can only help and u cant just rely on it . otherwise it would create so much frustration if u cant spend a lot on the game.
it also prevent occultists from enjoying the game and that's important
