do any vpn apps work for CH on secured school wifi?

So this might need to go on offtopic but it is about game so meh.
SO little known fact there are apps you can get called VPNs that allow you to unblock blocked games and sites on secured networks. so when you are on a network with blocked sites and apps you can bypass the firewall or whatever computer term is.. blah blah... point is i can play Clash Royale when i usually can"t lol. Yet, it doesn"t work for CH.
i am a high school senior and the way my schedule is set up i have loads of free time i spend sitting around when i could be bossing... my school has free wifi but basically everything is restricted... everything from social media to most online games. so when i discovered the VPN. i tried to find one that would unblock CH and similar server based games such as OAC and i have had no luck. I am hoping someone else has a retarded school system that allows me to watch any youtube video but i can"t log onto my online kids game and kill necro ._.
Do any of you have an app that will allow me to do so?
I am also really curious as to why it will work with clash of clans and clash royale and facebook and netflix, yet i cant get one to work for CH? Any of you tech wizards out there have an explanation on why i can"t and if there is any way to at all.
If getting to play at school means i have to buy an app i am okay with that too. Just need someone to help me find a solution to my 2 free classes and absolute boredom when my phone dies...
