Hi,
I played this a bit back on Andriod. I have a iPhone now and was thinking about starting up.
How is the game now?
I would like to play a Rogue, are they able to solo/level well?
Any tips or tricks for a new player or suggest server to start on?
Thanks
Re: Is it worth starting the game now? Advice on what to play/money to spend?
#2Still waiting to start until i get a bit more info.
Are there any other community or server resources, discord, etc out there?
Looking for a suggestion for a server to start my rogue on.
And start it with 2/2/1 dex/str/vit until 50 or so dex then 4/1?
Any suggestions on starting gear?

#3Hey Ashenor,
I'll step in to answer some of your questions![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)
I may be a bit biased seeing as I work at OTM but I would say now is a great time to join!
We've got a big focus on large permanent gameplay expansions and have lots planned for the future of Celtic Heroes.
From what are Rogues have been saying they are a decent solo leveler but due to the amount of them you may have a slowdown on getting quest items later on.
Good resource for info would be forum guide Biteys website: http://www.celticheroes.info/ and Anexanders expansive item database: http://www.celticheroes.net/
For experienced Rogue advice I would recommend our Rogue sub forum: http://celtic-heroes.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=51
If you ever get into any issues give me a shout and I will see what I can do to assist.
Have fun playing Celtic Heroes!

#5Agreed. Rogues are fast levelers, but it's hard to gear them because there's a lot of them out there. Warriors are decent solo levelers, but you're going to want to rainbow lix later on so it could be expensive once you reach Carrowmore. Rangers in my opinion are the cheapest class to play, since bolas keeps the enemies away from you. However, they level kinda slow compared to rogues and warriors, because you have to bolas and run before you start attacking. From what are Rogues have been saying they are a decent solo leveler but due to the amount of them you may have a slowdown on getting quest items later on.
Each server is different than the others and they all have their own cultures. It's hard to explain each one, and determine which one is better than the others because they are just all so different. I'd recommend just to pick one and play. Have a good time, meet friends, and remember the golden rule: "be excellent to each other, and party on dude!"

#6Thanks for the info.
I think i am leaning toward dps warrior.
I can deal with the expense later on down the road.
I don't mind spending money down the road, i know i dumped a decent amount into the Android version when i played.
