Sorry to spam folks who don't use the timer app. Version 1.1 had a major bug which logged people out frequently. This bug caused undue server load preventing people from logging in. This bug has been fixed and a new version of the app released. However folks still using version 1.1 are still causing stress on the server requiring me to constantly monitor the servers health.

the code for push notifs is baked into the app. The server side part which decides when to send the notif to the users is not quite done, and I have been so incredibly busy with the recent release and following bug fix that I have not had time to work on it yet.
