Is killing mobs while camping and waiting for Snorri to spawn grief? In my opinion it isn't, but we have had complaints from a rival clan that it is. We typically attack things with spiders which pulls them to us so we can kill them.. or we sometimes have an offgroup that runs around and kills them. The only issue I could see is the troll mobs aoe that hits everyone when attacked, but I don't think its really worth calling grief since it hits everyone and reduces the amounts of mobs to deal with when killing Snorri. Thoughts and opinions?

If your purpose in killing surrounding mobs is to clear the area or training your pet/mounts, then you can always do so away from campers.

IT IS YOUR CHOICE to drag it to campers and be a jerk. Just be honest and think about why you do it.

In fact, 3 clans camping Snorri and you are the only clan that does it. Why is that, hmm?

Try giving them an honest analogy if you want an honest opinion.

As I've said in one post, griefing takes many forms. It's not just limited to standing on Necro's AoE lifesteal range.
I know you are new to MMOs and have no experience playing with others, but here is a list from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Griefer which is a compilation of types of griefing from many MMO games over the last 2 decades, and some of them do apply to CH.
But as I've said, pulling mobs to campers is your choice You don't need to make a post to justify what you do isn't griefing. Sorry to break it to you, but your intentions aren't good, and you have to realize that and not continue to deny that you are doing anything wrong.

Sorry I don't dedicate my life to MMOs Ail. I didn't know attacking a random mob upsets players such as you. That's also the reason I'm asking for other opinions other than a rival clans opinion. I've heard you cry your opinion in game more than enough times. Please let others have a turn to speak. If others truly think it's some sort of unfair play then I won't do it lol.

OK Ugnar, how about we all make some level 5 toons and help your clan with Necro when you're on it... I mean there's no way simply attacking something can be griefing... right?

Just because CH is your very first MMO doesn't give you the excuse to act like an ashole to others, Ugnar. I understand you are pretty young and do not understand the ways of diplomacy yet, so I will continue to try and educate you as much as I can. Read the wiki, and learn why griefing is griefing no matter what the method.

All I'm asking is to be honest with yourself. Stop with the excuses please. You are not simply "attacking random mobs".

Why do you try and kill/damage others when all they're doing is camping? There is absolutely no reason to do so except to grief. Are you still having trouble understanding?
