And it's about to cost me a phone.

It's impossible to complete this single first boss quest that I'm on because every time the mofo respawns theres instantly lvl 200s comin and killing him. So after many many hours of campin out in the room finally he respawns but right before I attacked he was already dead. Thanks high lvl players for ruining an otherwise fun experience, I think I'm just gonna give up on bosses completely until lvl ~180 because there's honestly no point in trying anymore until OTM does something to make bossing more friendly for lower lvls. And fk target lock, everyone knows how broken that system is.

Not to mention that this is the FIRST REAL BOSS OF THE GAME. YOU GET THIS QUEST EARLY AF IVE HAD IT FOR WEEKS

P.S If avatar of donn died at 12:30 ... when would he respawn?

What server are you on? Have you tryed telling them that you are on quest? And I am sorry to hear this, some high levels can be douche sometimes, if you ever decide to switch servers go Epona, it's friendly, it's no dominat clan, you roll for drops if you in a clan or out of clan, doesn't matter.

Have you tried grouping them? Normally a higher lvl would group you with no prob if you say its for a quest.

target lock is broken i favor of lower levels, high level would need to kill it before you could do 10% of its health in damage.

What do high levels want with that boss? Tigers eye for an alt maybe?

Sorry your first interaction with a high level was bad. It's been said but I'll agree that you should just ask them for a group. Some people don't like group/friend/trade requests sent because they see it as spam so I think it's best just to ask. After the first time he killed it did you insult him or were you rude?

Very true, but at low levels it likely takes a party to kill bosses like Donn. Killing 10% before a high level (a decent one anyway) kills the boss may not be possible for them. And even if it were the high level could just wait until he's killed (if he can't solo) and get the boss.

Some high levels won't group out of fear that the item will fall to the low level and they won't get it back, even if the low lvl is just there for a quest.

Reminds me of this one ass hat GhostSword (name has been changed because I think there is some kind of rule against naming players) on Morrigan who ksed my noop on Grom 5* when I called him to the boss.

Some high levels are great people and some are ass hats like PhantomBl....er, um GhostSword. It can be frustrating, but don't let it ruin your game.
