Having the exact same issue with my iPad. Will say connecting then freeze up for a few moments before saying can't connect to server.

Same here pal.
iPhone 5s, IPhone 7 & iPad 4 stuck on connecting screen. I've tried home wifi, work wifi and data now

What to do....
