Trust your gut guys

i have played this game for 5 years, invested a lot of money, made a lot of amazing friends:) but today is the day i have to redo everything from scratch. i was scammed out of 7 100% mounts, a reaper and 150 sun set and skain storm set..... trust your gut, trust no person. gonna have to xfer what i have left :/ What server and why

I am really sorry to heard that this happened to you. This absolutely infuriates me to know that there are players who like to take advantages of others. I hope the other player has a changed of heart and returns your items.

A loan option or a transfer with an specified end date would solve all these problems and scams.

Damn.. how could that even happen? If you still have 5m or so i would suggest coming to
Epona. it would give you a great start and with that much gold you could be almost at end game. As you may know
Epona is none competition and we are
very harsh on scammers. Overall its a great server and with active and friendly people

Wow. I am so sorry. This scamming stuff is ridiculous. Can’t the Admins do something about a confidence scammer? Trace it and give the items back?
Confidence scams are way different then just handing over an item/items to an unknown individual that impersonates another toon or offers to transfer items to another sever. I would think that OTM understands that loans do happen between clan members and ingame friends.
I personally have seen some of the the older players with some amazing and rare items. I really hope OTM steps in on this one.

That's why it is best to scour the forums for a middleman with lots of posts, ask around about their reputation and then proceed.
If the middleman, still scams despite the above, then OP definitely has my hardest sympathies and two drops of my tears.
