OTM - Terrible flashing/flickering still after “update”

Even after this “update” of the client. We are experiencing severe flickering. Where we lose a target mid skill cast or right before the casting of a skill. For Druids this means casting Natures Touch on yourself more often than the tank or targeted party member.

Can this PLEASE actually be fixed.... this makes it exceptionally difficult and we were told that this client update would fix it.

Here is the news and feedback - it’s not fixed

Thanks.

It looks like it may just be a conflict of fixes between the client and the server.

We are investigating the issue further, there should be a server restart shortly to hopefully finally resolve the issue.

Was this not tested ???

Logging in for 5 minutes and casting a skill a couple times doesn’t generate the problem, it obviously wasn’t investigated enough. Apologies for the anger but the community is loosing patience with all these bugs and fixes that are doing nothing

Every update we release is thoroughly tested by our QA Team, certain issues however are only reproducible in a live environment.

Come on, now. Test is a 4 letter word!

I've noticed that the flickers happen when rogues use shadow strike. If you're close to a rogue when they use it, the bug occurs. Even if they're not grouped together. So during raid bosses, with the number of rogues spamming it, it creates the crazy blinks.

Hopefully this new reset resolves that

So what you're saying is that your in-house test environment looks nothing like your customer's live environment.

I'm sorry, but QA best practices aren't exactly state secrets and the number and magnitude of bugs in pretty much every one of your releases is at least as frustrating to your customers as it must be to you guys...

No. If it was that frustrating to them then they would take steps to not continue to have the same issues every update year after year.

Repeating that you're a small company so be patient is, well, an excuse to be okay with not doing better and improving as a company.
