Are the rewards different for both parts of the competition? If they aernt then isn't it useless for me to hunt for rabbit food when someone can just buy rabbit food and start competition at level 2 by cooking with those bought rabbits

No since they don't get points for the meat bought (collecting points) and they aren't guaranteed many exquisites
