Exiting the portal and spawning at the farm was designed to be that way.

Why? Because, and ill say it was a beta idea, that it would be to easy for the higher lvls to pop out kill falgren and pop back in. This was implemented to give the people who need dragon discs a chance to start on falgren and get some damage in before we higher lvls come along and kills it.

Just a way to give everyone a sporting chance at getting warden armor especially those who don't want to join a large clan :) I think its a great feature.

(What would be really cool is if you spawned at the river in shalemont like tam-lin did in the quest line)

Yeah like Nodnarb said...

The fact is: lvl 50-75 players without their warden gear deserve a chance to get their Dragon Frags and not be interupted and even precluded by players who can ley to OW and portal back. That to all of us was more wrong than portaling back to the farm. Tam Lin!!!

I think that a mailbox would be a good thing to add when the Auction House is released in Update 4, it certainly does seem to be a coding thing but something that could provide some real help. I do think with the level of scamming it would be much better if you could see the clan and level of the person mailing you so people copying names can't steal items from people.

And yeah I certainly agree with the other small points. This update is a foundation, it provides a new game engine that now can be used quickly to add and to repair and progress story, quest and items...and I think it will be. I would expect Update 4 to be out in less than 10 weeks. Like August sometime. I think the game and subsequent updates are gonna be released quite quickly from here on out.

I don't know about a world chat, it would get annoying quickly to be in Stonevale and look at some noob in Lir's saying over and over "SELLNG SHORELIN DAGGR PLZ COM TO HISHOOR VILAGEE!!!!1!1!!!"

Maybe not give a world chat ability until level 40?

When I say ability, I mean ability to do so, not like fire magic or blunt or anything

I think this is the only thread about the update that doesn't trash it. Too many items to cover. See other threads.

I've seen those topics too. I think the main complaint that no one is admitting is that they don't want to adjust their playing style
I personally feel like this update has made things a lot more interesting and made everything feel less stale

completely unfair assessment. If you have read the threads you can see we have adjusted our builds and tried new things with little success. The math just does not work out.

I like the update also, except the fact that i kept getting lost the first week. But now that the otherworld and the changes have been added, i like the game a lot better. Now, in the next update, the graphics will be better and they will put a whole new look on the characters. I really cant wait to see if this will be a great-graphics, mmo online game.
