Noob - New player, or someone that does not know exactly what they are doing. I've met level 90 noobs, and I've also met level 40's that are not just based on knowledge IMHO.

Why are you guys even using the term "noob" to describe someone who has not yet got a full grasp of what is expected from him to do or how the game mechanics work? I call these people "newbies", because the term "noob" is mostly connected with an aggressive and really negative undertone which scares people away from playing a game. Be friendly. If you just started you would be happy to be met with patience and understanding as well.

I say this although there are some morons out there who ignore all the good intentions and keep on annoying you. Block 'em and be dealt with them

I hardly use the phrase "noob." However when I do I use it specifically for players who beg for expensive items, and players who make threats against other players actual well-being or as it is generally called "talking tough on the internet."

Newb (newbie) - a new player, generally used derisively as in "stupid newb".
Noob - dweeb, lame a@#, twit, nerd. "What a noob."

A newb can be any level. A newb will use pots to take on mobs their own level because the mob is too tough and their stats are way off.
A newb is a level 85 tank with 327 Vitality and somewhere around 100 Str, but has taunt at 1/20 and shield bash at 20/20.
A newb is a level 90+ that has full diamond crystal armor and is killing level 80 red eyes to get pages, taking the kills that people levels 79-83 could be exping off of, when they could send a simple shout and buy a page for 1k-3k...
A newb is a level 75 that comes to Otherworld asking for an exp. group, and I've seen lvl 60-70s do this too
A newb is a level 88 warrior tank with full diamond crystal that can't take aggro from a level 82 rogue
A newb is a Ranger that has no light heal and tons of Vitality and plans on grouping with others for exp
A newb is a level 80 that keeps getting the group killed because they decide to go after every quest mob in Otherworld because they think the reward is something so awesome that they must die for it, and disband the group because of one newb fail.
A newb is someone that spam trades you then you ask how much for the item(s) they are selling, and, mind you, you hadn't asked them to buy anything, they say "offer" ._.
A newb is someone who spams invites to group them, and they are 20 levels under you.
A newb is someone who offers you 5k for your war torch and you still don't sell them it, because they are newb
A newb is someone who asks to be walked to the Otherworld leystone "Tower" and they don't have a Camo Charm
A scammer from before the Update is a 1000000000000000% NEWB.... and a NOOB as well
