Re: what golden blade fits a druid

None really... Trident is better unless you have mega sigils or don't mind using restos

And I used magic trident for ages and ages... Seeing as Druids do magic damage it made sense to me

Trident is good if you need the regens or are using a howling winds build and need the extra defence but if youre looking for sheer dps go with the blades. As far as blades go it all depends on where youre at, where youre going and whether or not you have a mage with you. Many choose ice because towards the end game you'll be leveling on lava and ice does more damage and has good fire resist. If youre grouping with a mage alot find out which lure he has the most points in and use the blade that matches the lure. Magic blades are the nice in between if you can't make a decision.

i disagree, a druid can go from dps to support without switching stats, get earthstone armour, amage rings and an offhand blade youre set, change gear for support. easy as that

Morrigan

Exactly pig! I can go from support to dps with just a switch of the gear.
Im a support druid with the following stats:
Str: 5
Dex: 5
Focus: everything else
Vit: 200

Natures touch: 30/30
Strangling vines: 30/30
Shield of bark: 29/30
Natures embrace: 29/30
Natures breath: 26/30
(Skills can increase depending on which rings im using)

My support gear is full spiritshadow w/ golden crown of wizardry, masters grimorie, 110 aggy book with nature magic bonus, hero ammy, energy regen bracelet w/10 per tic, major wyrm bracelet and various skill rings depending on the scenario.

Pretty basic support setup that gets me into boss fights and group leveling.

If i wanna go dps then its just a switch of some gear. Same as before except equip:
Golden blade of ice w/ no main hand wpn. I love the speed of h2h.
Golden severity helm
Heroic gloves
Drop the wyrm brace for a 6 crush dmg brace
And a couple of aggy dps rings.

My vines and and h2h does a great job at adding some dps. But how good is it you ask? I can solo most red phs including most of the gemholder phs (all but blade, shiver, rockbelly and deadroot.) I can also solo level on red horses in lava and dragoncults although masters do give me a hard time.

Now by no means is this a cheap setup... Quite expensive actually but it shows that druids can do both with the right gear.

A little off topic but does show how broken skills are when I found out a dps druid works best with h2h and dmg gear and doesn't need 2 outta 3 of their dmg skills...

Edited: And if i had more dps gear, i.e. earthstone and a couple more aggy dps rings, i probably wouldn't even need vines, the third dmg skill. Could put those points in abundance to turn myself into a mini tank.
