Re: Roots
#5somef of our druids use that i think, good on bosses but then u cant do close hits cuz it'll target u
if u got some way to fight on ranged combat with warriors and rogues it can be good, but its still very helpful

Re: Roots
#6I'm a lvl182 druid and since I first used the rooting this update, I have never got rid of it.
Rooting is the best way for druids to solo lvl atm and it will also help in some bosses. 20 seconds of movement restriction is huge for dragonlord bosses who do large amount of damage and AoE. With enough rangers, mages and one or two druids, snorri will be a piece of cake.
It also has similar cool down time as ranger's long shot so if you can ask a skilled ranger, they can time their long shot so the target can't move while the recast. If your clan is capable of taking dragonlord bosses, and have a nice team of ranged fighters, I would never take off root even when I am support build.

Re: Roots
#8Our server is a strong lover of Roots during bosses. Most of our druids are asked to max roots for bosses, and many druids max it on their own for soloing purposes. However, our lack of rangers may have something to do with our root love.

Roots bolas combo ftw. I love roots for bosses, but when roots evades bolas are good to back you up. Just watch out for the visual glitch when using roots and bolas together..
