Glad you like it MasterB, after your PM, did the extra points in Wind make any difference?
Extremely!!! Just adding the grand ring and leaving everything else exactly as in my pics was all i needed! Went from dodging half of the autos from any bogg up to 90%+, no kidding at all. :-)

Couple questions- I am a level 173 druid planning on trying this build
the gear I currently own is as follows:
full ancient beastbone, full dl except wep and robe, 100 focus ammy, 500 hp brooch, adamant icon, royal and grand swarm and vine rings, 40 focus/vit braces, and possibly a +6 atach helm.

I realize its harder without any hrung or aggy gear or a dl totem but I could purchase any lux gear necessary. In terms of bracelets would you recommend using the ones I have? or maybe buying either a pair of shrouding or 250 hp bracelets? I also have two 8 crush dmg bracelets. Would a adamant icon suffice or should I invent in an ancient wyrmbone totem? Finally, how much defence should I aim for? I am already planning to buy a 250 def brooch so maybe 150 or so dex should do? (550 def while not on combo)
I'd recommend:

- Royal Atach Helm
- Ancient Beastbone Top
- Ancient Beastbone Legs
- Rest Dragonlord
- Your Focus/Vit Braces

Crush Braces would be useless as you wouldn't have enough Strength to multiply the damage. Adamant Icon may work okay. Of course for best results you'd need DL totem for the Focus AND Damage boost. Defence Event Brooch would help a lot. You should aim for 500+ Defence whilst not on Combo, and Howling Winds preferably a few levels over maxed (as the main thing with this build is taking the mobs attack down to 0).
Alright thanks a lot. You don't think 2 shrouding braces would be worth getting? Cause I will have pretty low armor and atm my fortitude is maxed; maybe with an extra 1000 evasions I could eliminate most of the damage that I would otherwise have to worry about? And also it would allow me to keep a low touch and put more points into dps skills

Or put those extra points in bless and save brace slots for hrung/mord braces!!! Dmg, stat boosts, ability boosts, skill boost etc. With this build i could see switching gears to support hybrid druid by over maxxing bless too! Winds for autos and bless for all skill evades! :-)

yeah...but unfortunately our clan is not quite there yet for hrung and mordris. Even aggy we rarely get (tho i just got the kill an hour ago :) ). And I just noticed that one of my braces is a 20 focus and vit. Probably buying a replacement from lux but would like to know whether evasion braces would make a big difference or if i should just stick with hp (and maybe elemntal resist) boosting ones. feedback anyone?

Evasions aren't really a problem. The trick is to dodge almost all auto's (by taking the mobs attack down to 0), and having enough HP to survive skill hits (could also use the ammy's shield to take some of the impact), but as you're dodging 90% of auto's, you will have no problem whatsoever healing mid-fight.

hmm ok...i was planning to max all my dps skills and have a low touch, and in that case wouldnt evading some of their skills help survivability? also just got a dl robe so more decisions on maximizing versatility with my gear without alting...do you think its worth buying a dex ammy to swap out with my focus between training and bossing?

It looks like a decent build but I have yet to try it out. Im strictly a casting druid because I have 0 melee oriented items. When I train I like to max all the druid damage skills and than rely on my dual logged noob level 100 support druid to heal me outside of group and continue to cast buffs. This lets me focus entirely on damage with my main druid so theres no need to spec heal or howling wind. Plus leveling another druid to 100 is really not that hard at all.
