Gotta disagree with those posters who say Druids are hard to level. Depends on your build I guess. I am a new player but went from 1 to 60 in 16 days. Druids are great solo players. 90 percent of my leveling time has been spent solo. This is without spending plat on anything. Well, I did buy 30 sigils of energy two days ago at lvl 57. It has dramatically reduced my downtime.
My main tactic is to find a spot with 2 or 3 mobs that give good xp. I cast root, then vines, then lightning, then lightning again and repeat. Mobs usually only get two hits on me so there is not much need to heal. There was alot of downtime between mobs med'ing and waiting for energy to replenish. Now that I spent some plat on energy sigils, I regen 32 per tick normally, and 42 per when meditating.
My guy is built for soloing right now, but once I reach higher levels I plan to wipe skills and stats and build more for group play. When I do team up with a warrior or rogue buddy, I can sit and heal and my energy bar does not budge. I regen energy faster than I can use it while healing.
If anyone wants more info on my build, post up and let me know and I will provide stats.
Also, just got my Otherworld key today, yaay!

Lol. Bro look at the dates of the posts... The question and 80% of the answers were posted before Xmas. Before the starting quest hand fed you lvls of Exp, before you were given your major skills, before many aspects of the lowbie experience were streamlined. Druids have always been a handful to level compared to the other classes, but now they are much easier in the begining.
I am not trying to rain on yer parade, congrats on your leveling and your success at it, that's great and u hope more new and future Druids see this and make their own..thus rebuilding the Druid community on all servers... But this post and most of the responses therein are responding to a different Update, and virtually a different game.
Take care,
