Re: Solo Training at level 105

At 121 I'm currently running 34/30 lightning, 34/30 vines, 30/30 storm touch, 20/30 bark and 15/30 nature touch. I only have 50 energy regen in combat, and 25 sigils, so I run out pretty quickly. I'm finding that it works well with leveling though, since I always use an xp and energy lix. I am able to keep up dps with my fellow rogues and mages.

It appears that skill evasions are repaired with the update, so I may try reskilling a bit and swapping out [EDIT: storm touch for swarm].
With the high evasion rates, it was too big of a hit when storm touch missed because of the long cool down. It may not be worth it without a charm that reduces cooldown as it can really only be used every other mob.

I have tried the melee build. Here's what I had to my disposal,

60/60/60/60 stat dragon helm
Frozen totem
150 axe
I tested both sets of jewelry
Comrak bloodthorn (100 poison 150 str/dex)
Wyld sun ammy (50 poison dmg charm) extra ring slot
Full sets of Aggy rings 2 45's 2 50's
Also many jalans rings to test out what gave the most dps
Haste ring ofc
Hero gloves of haste to test also

I EVEN DUEL LOGGED MY ROGUE FOR AN EXTRA 121 poison wep

My conclusion,

Melee sucks

No matter what combination I used, nothing did more dmg (speed of Lix wise) than vines and lightning and bees. I was spamming all of these skills while auto attacking of course, but it was all minuscule damage. (I had haste and attack Lixs so I wasn't missing)

I found that it was better to get as close to max with lightning strike and strangling vines while using 1 slot for a focus ring. I spent atleast 30 alt books (normally switching from bossing heals) to test all of these weird builds. Basic main skill casting out dps them all. Bees or storm were about even (carrowmore and ow, bees really shine, tower build, storm is much better due to resists)

I did not have radiant earth stone armor. This would have added 180 heat dmg 500 attack and 500defense, I used adamant robe and skirt for a huge Vit bonus nice focus bonus (more Vit more focus more power :) )

Melee sucks
Vines lightning bees touch (5th)
Touch was never maxed
Enough Vit so survive a 4* (with 1 heal)
All focus

All slots should be adding skills besides the ammy
Mabon
Killsteal LOCK Rogue Level 175
Killheal Druid level 195
Proud clansman of WolfGang

I've got vines, bark, and touch maxed. Swarm is almost maxed. Plus gear that bumps everything up. I swap in rings before I cast to bump everything up just a little more.

If you spend the entire time trying to spam skills, the offhand and gloves (and the haste lix) won't do much to speed things up. With auto engaged, skills get interrupted too much. You have to figure out when to disable auto in advance to work out the extra attacks and interruptions that occur before you can cast. With a heroic haste lix, I can do more damage than lightning with the offhand and a totem than it takes to get interrupted trying to recast vines. It's tricky working around the bugs, but with patience and practice, you can cut kill times by close to 1/3 and reduce the deaths and restos by well over half. It's the difference between barely over a bar per lix to almost two full bars at level 144 (using super wisdom, heroic attack, armor, haste, energy, and health), while everyone else gets thee plus using just a super haste and health without trying :/
