did not mean melee attacks, ment the skill storm touch. and any druid that knows his class wont use spear... thanks for sharing tho, might convince some warriors to use their druid alts with rooting while dual boxing, or some druids that dont have any agg books or good totems to use it.

I think there was just some miscommunication on the root situation. .

grasping roots make the target stand in the same spot, not being able to walk, it can still attack, but if it is melee dmg and doesnt have a ranged weapon you will be able to stand without taking damage. only works for 20 seconds.

I believe Yrck means that a close range melee mob cannot attack you while rooted (a mob holding a club) if you move back, but that if it is a ranged mob (bow, caster) it can still hit you regardless of Root.

Conversely, I don't think Jugg was suggesting the Druid use the spear, but rather that a group member could.

Can anyone mention where they have found Stinging Swarm, I've never seen it drop and if it's a quest - I didn't know about it. Thanks.
