Today i saw another druid using bow and golden quiver. We both agree that golden quiver is better than master grimoire.
I've bought the grimoire from shop for 200k yesterday, thats a lot and ..... time to write a review after testing the master grimoire
Here is my stat (i really messed up at the beginning...)
str 5+1
dex 5+1
foc 244+6 (en: 1615)
vit 106+1 (hp: 879)
The grimoire increased my health and foc by 100, which makes:
1. hp: 979
2. en: 2162 (this is a lot !)
3. vines damage 297 to 325 (lv16)
4. embrace 30 to 33 (lv7)
5. touch 538 to 580 (lv20)
6. lighting 161 to 175 (lv6)
7. abundance 117 to 129 (lv1)
Sounds not bad, rite? I've asked my mage friend to equip it and tested too, but i didn't wrote down the stat changes. As said by other great druids, the increase in foc by the grimoire will help me killing faster and i shouldn't be care much on armor. IMO, other druids won't have golden quiver and so they won't notice the difference. The defense and armor of my druid is low and with my stat distribution, my hp is low too. This makes me hard to fight for long battle without casting nature touch. Also, vine is my main skill to do damage, which is true to most druids. But the casting time for vines and touch is too long and always being interrupted...the record for me is 6 casts interrupted in a row (can't break this record yet as i die after 6 interrupts on touch).
Not like mages and rangers, druid do not have ranged weapon, which means we have no choice but to receive attacks directly during battle. Also, our attack skills is slow killing skill and takes time to kill and that means we need many hp or hp regen during solo in order to receive at least several attacks from the enemy (ah....thats a complaint...how come mobs attack speed is way faster that us players????). You may say we druid have root to stop enemy from moving, rite? If you say that, u won't know how hard a druid is to distribute our skill points. We need to have high lvl touch otherwise rangers r better healer than us (well...imo, they already r better healers becoz they heal faster and have bolas). We need lighting and vines so we can kill....so we dun have points for root ! And root can only stop enemy for 20 sec, which means after 20 sec we'll be attacked and have to cast skills during attack.....and being interrupted again and again.....It really makes me feeling bad when i'm watching my friend being killed slowly becoz of my touch casting being interrupted several times in a row and I'm like standing still there doing nothing !!!!!
With golden quiver, i won't have to cast touch so frequent and can focus on casting lighting, which really helps me kill faster. Also, with a att speed 2000 bow with heroic gloves which boost 30% att speed, i have chance to interrupt enemy from casting skills (if only i hit them...). Even i didn't hurt them, the hp regen helps me survive longer which means do damage longer with my slow killing skills. Compare with totem, u may say bow didn't hurt but hey, totem hurts? no way.
With the current game setting which is slow casting time and high interrupt rate for vine and touch, I 've came up with this conclusion:
Druid (with heroic ammu) works better with bow and golden quiver of ice/fire than with master grimoire and totem
I'm sure this is true till lvl 100 for druid and I really hope OTM do at least consider on:
1. For a supporting class, give us a skill which can compete with light heal of rangers, something cast fast and heal less, or faster casting time for touch
3. For better solo, faster casting time for vines or slightly raise the damage for sting swarm

Re: I was a ranger ^.^
#12hahaha, just having this again....touch succeeded after 6 interrupts in a row, vines succeeded after 2 interrupts but evaded

Re: I was a ranger ^.^
#13you seem to be talking like quiver is best for druid... grimoire is better 100% no doubt. grimoire was made for druids and mages, quivers for rangers. let the classes be what they are supposed to be instead of wanting to make classes unoriginal by having them be the exact same except for the skills. you seem to have no idea how to be a succesfull druid. this might sound harsh but if you honestly think druids should use quivers, you do not own the thinking a druid needs. i would recommend a new class.
