well considering your clan has almost every high-lvl ranger in Taranis, bolas works for you. Illum uses roots mainly, as we have 2 150+ rangers, and we are perfectly fine: warriors and rogues can still use skills and avoid the boss's melee attack, and our mages/druids can still attack. Our rogues usually have very little STR and are dex-based, so they hit most of the time. In servers where rogues are not too common, roots/bolas works fine. In others, tanking is the best way.On Taranis we do use bolas, fights don't even commence with rangers missing. Only time roots is used are for adds (saves us druids when we get aggro) and when bolas has missed.
