After some time with the update I've learned and realized a few things. I am finally at the point after much play time and experimenting that I have been able to manage my energy consumption. Unfortunatly its taken over 1 million gold in lux and the help from the 200 odd sigils that i have. After buying most of the new lux regen and help with my sigils that i own i have finally come to the point that I can manage my energy. Note that this is just in group leveling. Ill wait on the new bosses till I get higher in levels. No I can't spam heals and buffs but if i hold off and only cast when needed my energy stays ok. But there are some problems with this in my opinion.

1. My level is only at 154 and skills are nowhere near 50/50. Currently they are:
Natures touch 35/35 (yea my luck with any good rings or aggy bracelets is non-existent.)
Strangling vines 32/35 (my dps spell in case i want to casually solo grind)
Bark 30/35 - 35/35 with ring
Embrace 30/35 - 34/35 with ring
Natures breath 30/35 - 34/35 with ring
These skills are not max so their energy costs are easier on me. When I do get them to max I'm sure that its gonna be a different story...

2. At this point for a druid, luxury items are no longer a "luxury." Now with the new game mechanics the regen from luxury items are necessary. The only other way for us to regen energy in combat is to rely on another support class, mages, to be available and in attendance to keep us up. I think needing two support classes to make one work is asinine. I completely agree that druids should enter combat when casting heals or buffs on someone who is in combat. Only seems logical. If we do something that can gain us aggro then we should be considered in combat. But for us to have no way of regaining energy during combat completely gimps us. Yes all other MMO's have it to where casters do have problems keeping up with energy but Celtics Heroes is the only one that doesn't have potions available in game for gold. One of the biggest differences. Unfortunately the only conclusion to this dilemma is giving the druids an energy boost skill... I hope we can come up with another solution... We already have so many skills with so few skill points that i don't want to have to consider making room for another skill. At that point druids will no longer have any real individuality, being forced to max a number of certain skills.

All in all after my long rant two things are my main problems with druids. Our energy consumption is way to high and luxury regen is no longer a luxury but a necessity.

I am in the same place but I have 50/35 Bark and 44/35 Lightning, level 154.
Using +100 Rejuv items. I can't get off my broom and use my books and new staff because I need the +40 rejuv.
After careful casting of spells, I am forced to sit out after a dozen mobs, with XP Lix running, waiting for energy to tick up.

This is with 400+ sigs!

Any druid without lux is screwed, period.
This is a definition of a broken class. We should be able to play our toons without Sigs and Lux items!!!! :cry:

I would not define my position as this!!!
They need to change Luxury Shop to NECESSARY SHOP!!!!!!!! :roll:

My druid pre update could hold a group of five no problems after the update i cant even hold two up for more then 5 min before running out of energy my touch is 1347 my embrace 169 and my breath is 750 the breath four or five times and im out wth something needs to be done almost last tank on aggy over us running out of energy

I agree with you morph.

However an alternative soloution would be to double all skill stats if energy was to remain the same. For example if you had a 1600 vines stat double it to 3200 per tick, 1500 natures touch goes to 3k and so on.

Anybody else be happy for this to happen to fix our class?

I think it would be a more progressive step than reducing energy cost.

Also would solve the lack of available skill points/tomes.

The reality is that all classes are semi broken except for warriors and mages.

I wont comment on rogues and rangers. They have their own special post on it.

Again we need to keep this post alive and consolidate all feedback to fix druids. Playing druids is now like a nightmare.

1) Sigils are not 100% effective as before due to incombat introduction
2) Crazy energy cost as per the table: 2K energy for lv 50 spring of life, 1k storm touch etc
3) Broken skills such as spring of life which was meant to combat death penalty. (This is super fail, my clan members didnt want me to rez them as they get 1 energy. Fail...)
4) Damage wise, I can whine on this:

A) Rogues and rangers have been whining about lack of damage and rightly so. Mages have been blessed with lures from beginning and they have *attunment* and they now have Ice shards which is even more powerhouse than ice shards. (Ice shards 5k, Ice shands 8k). Warriors were fortunate enough to have shatter which is basically lure (pierce/slash/crush) for 6 secs. Combine this with rup and double attack, very good damage combo.
B) With enough noises, OTM will probably boost some form of damage for rogues and rangers. I would like to see druids getting some form of dmg boost as well. I always felt we got the short end of the stick when mages got 20% energy cost reduction and 20% cast boost. Druids will never in op in damage like mages as we have no lure of magic. Its not the same when u need depend on other classes to boost yr dmg. So what is there to be scared about? We should have another power house skill like ice blast or the 20% casting speed boost.

We can only hope OTM crew is reading this, and when they patch , will fix Druids along with other classes as well.
MorphMarfa has retired from Celtic Heroes and most probably wont be resurfacing. He had a enjoyable time during his druid adventures in Taranis.

Here is the deal... Rouges are getting skill hits at 10k and they are complaining.
I am soooo tired of hearing from rouges complain and yet they often have unbalance builds and rarely know how to play the game.
I am not bashing Rouges... I am applauding them :!: They have figured out that crying to OTM gets them more stuff.

This issue here is about druids!!!!!
But it also effects every player who depends on our heals to be there before they die.

Something has to be done or peeps will quit playing druids.
You have some of the best druids in the game shaking their heads and switching their mains to rouges!!!! :cry:

At Level 155
I ride a +40 e rejuv broom
I have a +40 e ammy
I have a +20 e braclet
I have a +10 2 braclet

With all this I am barely able to keep up with energy demands.
What is sad it that I cannot wear my two +5 bark, +250 Nature Magic bracelets :(
