Restarting my Druid

As I said, I am restarting my Druid for the first time since the update.

I have done 2/3 focus, 1/3 health.

But any tips for me on what skills to use, what rings to use etc etc etc would be handy.

Thanks.

Edit: I should also ask, I am going to be a group healer, do I need to buy diamond, I have full warden and going for astrial soon if I level up enough, does it make a big difference to a druids healing?

Grand/Royal Rings of the Earth(+Nature) are just amazing, I am floored how useful they are not just to heals, but all spells.

Other than that, I kinda find it depends fully on yer build, skills etc. I know many use touch rings, I kinda have a rolling ring set up of Grand rings of storm, vines, spring (yes I use it :) ) and a few ward rings that I can change in and out depending on the boss.

I think that it's a tough choice between a dps type Druid for lvling and a support Druid for groups and bosses, what many have found is you can craft a solid dps lvling build for leveling and by using bark, embrace and a large touch along with offense still be able to assist in a group scenario, just not with the versatility of a support Druid.

I don't use this build, but many Druids do, and they have solid success with it.Starting to see dps druids with the offhand ice trident for the str and dex too, its a whole new world. And since many Druids have different builds they can call out what they will cast prior to the fight, so all Druids can play a focused role in group success, not just support types.

I wish you all the best.

Spring of Life is the rez spell.

so what type of affect does it have on the skill points? like that spell needs a lot of points into it, what affects will it bring on putting points in other skills?

I think what he is trying to ask is "If I allocate enough skill points into Spring of Life (resurrection) to be useful, how should I allocate my remaining skill points?"

The answer to this is... it depends on what the priorities of your build are, what level you are, how many points it took to get a useful rez spell, and what kind of rings you have. I'll shut up now so that one of the two druids who actually use the spell give real advice on this issue.

I really think literally only like 1 Druid a server uses Spring of Life. It's not a popular spell, mainly because it can't be used on Lava, and the skill points you need to bury into it are ludicrous.

But with Royal and Grand rings, if you get them it's a truly nice spell to use if you are willing to only use one other buff, for me it's ward of giants (20/25), The fact is, ai simply would not recommend using it unless you understand what you give up to do so.

For my clan, I Rez them often, probably have saved my clan more than 500 idols collectively, but I buff like a cyclops with pink eye. So I would probably stay away from it, unless you enjoy being awkward.

Thanks, I think guys,
Spring if life is out for me.

For now I'm just going to wing it, see what happens and level up quick.

thanks. im not gonna use that skill, well it is kind of cool, we should make rings that upgrade 10 or 20 points, but that doesnt work
