Do I dump all my saved skill points in at 90

#1
So my Druid is approvhing 90 and I have skill points waiting for when I hit 90 I have about a 65 energy regen(with meditate 40 without) and I was wondering should I just dump them straight in or do it gradually so I can still heal without loosing all my energy I plan on getting a few sigils soon (50 or so) but that may not happen until I'm 100
If I don't just dump them in what skills should I put them in I don't have any of the new fancy skills except ward of magic and abundant aura
Should I invest another 10 points in meditate?
No clue what to do here lol

P.S. the skills I'm going to dump them in are the healing skills btw (touch embrace breath)

I would be careful not to go overboard, especially if you are only planning to spread your points over three skills.

Yes, you will get new skill space, but remember that the x/25 goes until about level 120. ie., if you slam down a 25/25 Touch, you will be spending Energy at the same rate as a level 119. You will not have the Energy reserves of a level 119, however, as you will be lacking in Focus.

What I like to do when I re-skill, is put my points in slowly. Add a point, and go fight for a day. If you have no Energy issues, add another point.

The Meditate skill might be a very good use of points if you have no sigils. I don't know for a fact, but I have heard that Meditate uses the same amount of energy, regardless of how many points you have in it.

You've obviously rationed for the past several levels, so no need to rush.

also depends what kinda druid u are... if u are a FULL support druid use these since u have not alot of regen things:
natures touch 25/25
natures breath 25/25
natures embrace 25/25
meditate 15/25

u may wanna remove breath or embrace if u wanna use wards but if u are gonna help rouge/ranger/dps warrior u will want to keep embrace and touch
so yeah its ur choice
good luck

Yer telling a level 90 to go 25/25 on 3 skills?

Have you....suffered some slightly deabilitating head trauma in the last 12 hours?

How many fingers am I holding up?

ROFL, man I um...I disagree. I would read Dersu's post and refer to that.

This guy if he is rocking such high meditate seems to really not use plat, perhaps he only has a limited number of slots, who knows...I would echo Dersu and just say... Don't plunge in, 25/25 skills are energy goddesses, they will wreck you and give you tons of downtime unless you truly don't do anything but stand and meditiate all healing time, but even then yer basing your success on few tanks at your lvl. So the only thing I agree with Godzilla on is: Good Luck!!!!

I made a post about the mistake I made when I hit 90 - I maxed out a few skills and they used too much energy.

Saving your skill points is a good trick, and something I have learned to do. Beats buying a book of alt every time you get a new spell or more skill space.

If you have already bought some energy sigils, you might look into buying a used energy regen item, like a ring or necklace. Many mid or high levels will likely have them as they upgrade to higher ones or other items and don't have space. Also look to buy a fabled or grand mediate ring if you rely on mediate.

Post more specifics and you will likely get more detailed answers from everyone. And congrats on lvl 90.

I have a masters grimore heroic ammy and energy ring and I have 16 skill slots I rock the 10 point meditate just in case though I rarely run out of energy( plus I'm cheap and don't want to spend gold on a alt book lol)I've always thought the meditate would be useful one day saying as I don't have sigils (dumb move on my part)
I do only stand back and heal which allows me to level with a 110 warrior (tank) and a 105 rogue (dps)
I don't have any good wards yet and I am trying to purchase them all I have is magic ward (which I have no points in)
My skills are basically:
22/20 touch
20/20 embrace
20/20 breath
10/20 meditate
7/20 abundance
3/20 bark
With about 7 or 8 skill points left I can't remeber

You definetly dont need More Points On Meditate. 20 from meditate plus the 40 Additional Per Tick energize. That is most definetly enough. If you want to really have fun, put some more points on Strangling Vines if it isnt already maxed. It is my favorite Druid spell. If you max it, it does fair amounts of damage.

I should have mentioned in my first post that at level 102, I don't have anything maxed.

If you are usually grouped, have regen, and only heal from a distance, then sigils aren't that important. You did nothing foolish, so don't beat yourself up.

You are in a good situation, I think. It sounds like you are usually grouped. And given your level and the levels of your buddies, I was thinking that you might consider putting a point or two into your Ward of Magic to try out. I think it would be useful for the next 30 levels, as you are fighting trees, wraiths, and kelpies. (I know you said you are only considering the healing skills, but I consider a buff in this category.)

By that time you would hopefully have the Ward of Giants and some more skill points saved up, which would help you against golems.

I'm interested to hear what you finally decide to do, but I suspect that no matter what, it will be a well thought out process.

Sounds good. You might save these and future points and split them among your wards as you get them, hoping you get some good rings to boost them even further, or put the points into bark. Ward spells usually aren't very expensive - you just have to get lucky when they are available and someone has one to sell.

You might try to trade or buy a book of alt though, to play with a couple of different variations of your skills to see what you really like. It will make it easier to see what direction to go in the next few weeks/months as you continue to level up. And if you don't use meditate, those 10 skill points would come in useful elsewhere.
